Stephanie Balvin

I am so thrilled to be returning to St. Dominic’s for a full year!  In March 2010, I joined the St. Dominic’s team as the 6th grade LT sub.  Before that I have taught at all levels including Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 5th grade and 6th grade.  I am a 1998 graduate from Northfield High School, and in 2002 I graduated from Bethel University in St. Paul with a degree in education.  From there,  I spent some time teaching in North Minneapolis before taking some time off to be at home with our 3 children.  Jacob- 7, Isabelle- 5 and Andrew 4.  I also spend the winter months as a Northfield High School girls’ basketball coach.  I enjoy sports and any game/activity where there is a little healthy competition.  I also enjoy reading, running, scrap booking, and shopping!  I am so excited about this new opportunity with St. Dominic’s, and please stop in my room this year to say hello!
