The Art program is about to receive big changes…and I know your family is going to be excited to see what your child is creating in my room.  We will be adding Preschool to the weekly visits to Art. The 6th, 7th and 8th grade Art elective will meet twice each week and will cover many of the same concepts as their counterparts at the Middle School.

I love to use everyday objects to make art – I think this makes Art more accessible in daily life for children, and inspires them to see the things that surround them with new purpose.  I also enjoy helping kids make connections between Art and the concepts they are covering in their classrooms.  They will even learn the history behind the Art they are making through samples and fun stories.”
