PARENT NEWS:
- Auction update: It’s hard to believe, but the auction is less than one month away! Please remember to send in all ticket money and unsold tickets as soon as possible. This will help the auction committee plan accordingly. Plan for a great adult-only night out! Not only is it a very important fundraiser but also a very enjoyable social night and a GREAT meal!
- We had a very successful Pancake Breakfast this past weekend! Thank you to everyone who supported the athletic programs by selling or buying tickets and helping with the breakfast. Over $900 was raised to help purchase new uniforms!
- From The Family Fun Committee: The Family Fun Committee would like to thank all who attended the Pizza/Movie Night and helped to make it a huge success. The donations and help with clean up were greatly appreciated. Mostly, we would like to thank the students for their cooperation and enthusiasm. We are looking forward to the next Family Fun Night.
- Thank you to the Family Fun Committee for their efforts in organizing a night for students and parents to have a great time!
- More thank yous… By simply enjoying a meal (or two!) at Culver’s on Monday, January 26, we were given a check for $176.93! Thank you to Tom and Julie Zenk for this opportunity! Stay tuned for future St. Dominic dates!
- Registration information is included in this week’s packet. In order to help us in planning for the 2009-2010 school year, please return your registration form and fee as soon as possible. Current families in K-8 will have priority registration for 2 weeks. Current Preschool families’ registrations will be processed before any new families. After February 19, registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
- If you have not yet sent in your family photo for the bulletin board, please know there is still time! The students have really been enjoying spending time looking at the pictures!
- Elementary Science Fair, Saturday, 2/14 from 9-11 at the NHS cafeteria. The high school science department, in collaboration with St. Olaf and Carleton colleges, is hosting a morning of science activities for elementary students. Funding for this is being provided by an HCI grant, so this is a free event for any of your students and their parents.
