PARENT NEWS:

  • Next school year, we are planning to split our 7th and 8th graders into two groups.  Currently, they are a combined group in the morning and then go to the Middle School in the afternoon.  Our plan is to have one group attend the Middle School in the morning and then come to St. Dominic in the afternoon.  The other group would do the opposite.  In recent years, the number of students did not support this model.  However, the coming year’s projections do
  • Spring brings many opportunities for class field trips.  Remember you need to have completed VIRTUS training before spending time volunteering with the students.  You may register for training at www.virtus.org.
  • Thanks to all of you who ate at Culvers on Monday. The Zenk’s delivered a check to St. Dominic School for $147.07!
  • St. Watch: We have an immediate need in our after school St. Watch program for an assistant 2-3 afternoons per week beginning at 2:30 pm.  This is a paid position and will typically be approximately 4-7 hours per week.  If you love working with kids and are interested in helping out, please contact Vicki or Jane in the office.  (Your own children would be able to participate free of charge while working.)
  • We will be having Stations of the Cross every Friday beginning March 6th until Easter.  Stations begin at 2:00, and we will dismiss from church at the regular time of 2:35.  If you pick up your child, please remember to pick them up at church! Please feel free to join us as well!!  St. Watch children will walk back to the school with staff.
  • Enclosed you will find an information card about our school.  Please pass it out to friends!
