This week we have had a lot of activities and excitement.  It was fun to go back to the 1970’s with all the groovy clothing and jewelry.  We enjoyed a day of School Spirit with a pep fest and celebrated mass in our finer clothing.  We wore crazy hats, played and WON Bingo and we enjoyed presentations from special guests.  We wrapped up with a day of mini-courses, staff vs 8th grade volleyball game and an all school read in our Pajama’s.  It was a week of getting together as a school to enjoy the wonderful benefits of Catholic education and community.

The third grade will have mass this coming Wednesday, and not to get confused with this weeks and weekend masses, I held off sending home mass parts.  I did however, send them home today and they are in their backpack.  They need to practice them over the weekend, since I was unable to dedicate time this week.

Our theme will be the Holy Spirit and the Fruits of the Holy Spirit.

We are still practicing math facts and going through each fact.  So far we have tested on 2, 5, 10, next will be 9 and 3’s.  It is extremely important that they practice the homework sheets at home.  I have only 5-10 minutes of school time to allow for practice.

What’s Going on in Grade 3?
