TAKE A PEEK AT WHAT WE ARE UP TO IN FOURTH GRADE:

*Language:

Skills: We will be learning about comparing and contrasting, the elements of a plot, and folktales.

English: The students continue to learn about adjectives. We are also learning about the conventions trait. Students are working on their description papers.

Spelling: words for the week will include: other, number, October, another, color, doctor, motor, people, simple, angle, title, model, barrel, angel, broken, sudden, oven, common, gallon, button

*Math: Students continue to learn how to multiply larger numbers.

*Religion: Chapter 14 is about serving God and others.

*Social Studies: The students have been learning and exploring the Southeast region using a layered curriculum.

*Science: We are learning about objects in motion.
